Shakespeare is considered as the greatest writer in the history of the English langage and also the world&apos;s pre-eminent dramatist.

He influenced every generation of writers since his death and he continues to have an enormous impact on contemporary plays, movies, and poems.

That&apos;s why today I&apos;m going to introduce you 2 original texts of Shakespeare studied in class with their revisited version and finally I&apos; going to present you my personal work.

All along my presentation, we&apos;ll see in what whays the rewritings of S scene explore or explode the original texts?

Let&apos;s begin!

So, the first one will be the famous Romeo and Juliet&apos;s tragedy dating from 1597 revisited in the musical West Side Story written in 1957 by Arthur Laurents.

Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story, two timeless dramas that will live forever. Here, the study will be focused on the balcony scene.

Although in both text the action is similar we find some changes.

Indeed, we notice that the places are different. In Shakespeare&apos;s text the scene takes place in Verona, in the Capulet&apos;...
