Do you think that our modern world has become more egalitarian concerning the equality between men and women?

• Looking back a hundred years ago, inequality between men
and women was simply shockingly obvious.
Things are completely
different nowadays.
Yet, equality between men and women is still
an issue.
How corne? ln our modern societies, such a topic should
be outdated!
• Weil, it's certainly not the case.
ln terms of career, for example.
Women having had great careers are still set as examples whereas
the fact that they are women wouldn't even be mentioned should
equality be the rule.
A good sign of equality might be the day when
the question: "how can you manage both your career and your
family?" won't be so frequently asked any longer.
Men and women
still happen to be considered differently within the same company.
Moreover, many employers often offer lower wages to women and
less career perspectives.
Consequently, female decision-makers are
less numerous .
The seat of power in a company is more likely to be
granted to a man than to a woman.
• We are used to having female business leaders in advertising, in
publishing, in the media industry, and even more so in any domain
that has to do with creativity.
This is slowly changing.
IBM, for
example, has appointed a woman as their CEO.
Women no longer
need to work in a creative company to advance in their careers.....
