the American revolution involved 2 irreconcilable forces who were defending 2 different sets of interests. Each time the Britich parliament passed new acts they were met with opposition. This created a mood of solidarity and union among Americans.The reaction of the colonists was first Individual protests: khnowledgable people , politicians and representatives who wrote (articles)and demonstrate in the streets denouncing these acts.Second, economic action:non-importation programs to boycott British industrial goods, mobilisation of the public opinion.Third, organisation of an intercolonial congress
