Eveline

Eveline was walking like a living dead. She was tired, pale, and she started coughing so she decided to seat on the pier.  A boat floating on a green water reminded her bad memories. It reminded her of her past, the day when she decided to stay here for ever, as long as she was alive. After all these years, she couldn’t stop thinking to the back mass which took her freedom away. How could she let this happen? Her faith and her duty had been hold her prisoner of her lot. Ironical, isn’t it? Eveline was so devoted that she had to renounce to her hapiness. 2 years after her father’s death, she met a really nice man… in appareances. She felt in love with him. It was the first time that something good happened to her. She married him and had a daughter. But her husband revealed him to be an alcoholic who sometimes beated her. She looked at the crowd which seems to mock her.
