Dear Mrs Nom, I am writing to apply for the position of bartender in your restaurant, which I have heard about from Jacques Fourchon who is currently in your employment as a bartender. I have experience in tending bars as I have been working for the past three years at "Café de la Paix", which is a very good and well-known restaurant in Paris of about the same standard as your establishment. During my time there I learnt all of the duties expected of a bar tender, including cleaning and maintaining the bar, mixing drinks and cocktails, arranging the restaurant and bar room furniture, interacting with customers and keeping accounts and inventory of drinks. Moreover, I developed a real sense of team spirit, I learned what giving good service to customers' means and I know how to deal with eventual problems.
