Second Step : Saint Louis/Springfield (MO) Springfield, 06/08/2013 Busy day today ... I awoke this morning under a typing sun. I swallowed a very special breakfast, consisting of very fresh English muffin and not'' egg with bacon, typical breakfast. The full stomach, I decided to take the road, famous 66 to Springfield. Not easy to get out of St. Louis, highways go in all directions, it's huge. The arid landscape and straight road give way to lush vegetation and much more hilly roads of Missouri.I drove slowly to take the direction of Stanton and his famous "Meramec Caverns." Let's go for a 1:30 tour into the bowels of the most famous U.S. cave. I admired them old stalactites and stalagmites of millions of years. These rock formations are highlighted by different sets of light available throughout the course. I went through the Mirror River, an underground river where everything is reflected. The fantastics carverns The tour is over, I take the route. I went to Bourbon, Cuba and murals, St. Cloud. Then I went to the "Devil's Elbow" next to the Ozarks. « The devil's Elbow » I was getting hungry so I decided to stop me after lunch and as I wanted to relax to "Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden". I went to Battlefield to eat in the popular "Andy's Frozen Custard - E. Battlefield". I wanted to taste their famous English cream, I took a good burger and a cake with custard as I was very hungry. After i went to « the Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden » . It's was wondeful. This place is amazing and it is very similar to the gardens in Kyoto, Japan. It was great, This garden is so peaceful. I hit the road, and passed a golf "the Glowgolf" and I went in to see what it was exactly. It was original, I wanted to try some. It was great fun. It's was already 16AM, that the time flies. Therefore, I decided to go to the bigest shop of sports « The bass pro shops » (ootdoor world) . Fishing, hunting, camping, boating, golf, gifts, footwear and clothes . This store is paradise. I think I robbed to bring many memories for my family. hungry, I took the road to find a restaurant for dinner. I finally found a restaurant on the republic rd « Argentina Steakhouse ». I ate very well. I fell fatigue therefore I decided to find a hotel for a good night and be fit to start tomorrow bele a beautiful day on the road 66. Not far away, I saw a hotel that was called "Candlewood Suites South." I was booked a room there, I discovered a beautiful room. I slept very well and tomorrow a beautiful day will start !
