PHORCYS. Divinité marine appartenant à la première génération des dieux, Phorcys est le fils de Pontos et de Gaia, le frère de Nérée, de Thau-mas et de Céto, qu’il épousa. De cette union naquirent la plupart des monstres qui hantent les légendes grecques, Scylla, les Gorgones, Échidna, les Hespérides.
