“Good morning Mum!” Sarah she said.
“Hi! How are you?” Her mother asked.
“I’m fine, thanks. I ‘ve called you to say that I won’t come back to the house. I ‘ve decided to stay in France during three months.” Sarah declared.
“What?” Her mother proclaimed on a tone of surprise.

the pros and cons.
In our society, we can have the opportunity to travel and go abroad in a foreign country.
People usually say that it’s a good thing because it’s a way to acquire knowledge.
All the same, some
persons think that to take a gap year is like going on holiday.
On the one hand, I would like to go and spend a year in a foreign country since that would
allow me to meet people and to go on a world tour.
For instance I would hitchhike, sleep in a youth
hostel or a boarding house and work as a chambermaid in a hostel.
Moreover, I could be active in an
association to endeavour to people in needs in this country.
Personally, I have an enquiring mind and
I am anxious to learn the traditions in a new country so that I believe that I could to profit from this
year.
Besides, I wish to know this country’s language which I shall have chosen.
On the other hand, I shall a little be afraid of going abroad alone without my family and my
friends.
Indeed, I am not self-confident and sometimes I don’t manage to cope with myself.
In
addition, to find a job is difficult now especially when we are young .
That is to say, it would be an
successful experience, a fiasco as I could go wrong and misbehave since I will be unsupervised.
Thus,
I will go back home .
In other words, I will go backwards.
To my mind, if I will spend a year abroad, I
should be bold, daring and courageous in particular to find not too expensive a place to sleep or to
adapt me to this new environment.
All in all, if I had this opportunity, I would jump for joy because it would be a great
experience! I am an achiever and a go-getter ,so to go abroad during one year would be an occasion
to discover a new country!
