Currently, the brain implant project is a big topic in our society.
It would be possible in a few years to boost our intelligence with a simple chip
implanted in the human brain.
The emergence of this new technology could turn our society upside down.
We wonder then what would be the impacts of this kind of technology for the
future?
My first part will evoke the progress that these implants bring to the society, my
second part will focus on the risks.
The use of chips in our brains would allow, according to "Business Insider" to
record and stimulate brain activity.
This stimulation could help to solve certain
pathologies such as serious spinal cord injuries, but also certain neurological
disorders.
According to Elon Musk, an internationally known engineer who runs Tesla and
Space X, is heavily advertising this new technology.
He is currently testing it on
pigs in his company neuralink.
For him many problems can be solved by simply linking signals between existing
neurons.
Progress will accelerate when we have devices in humans
Indeed, it is true that these implants would revolutionize the treatment of mental
disorders.
It would greatly increase man's intelligence and thus develop his efficiency in his
daily tasks.
Which are personal or professional.
Nevertheless, many people are still reluctant to the arrival of this innovation.
Not
everyone is necessarily ready for the renewal.
