The idead of progress

« GMOs to be at least labelized : GMOs can't be forbidden but because of the uncertainty of their causes on health, something have to be done to give a choice to the population.

In USA, you find GMOs everywhere, even in organic shops ! And you don't know anything about that while you're buying those one ! GMOs are an actual progress, but it has to be improve to turn out to be a good progress.

We should make GMOs that are not dangerous for human health, with the help of the science.   We are going to shortly talk about Google Glasses, first, what are these ? Google is testing in the USA glasses with an internet connection that give you information about everything you see, including people, monuments, products in a supermarket, everything ! You even can use it as a phone.

On the surface, this is a really impressive thing, that make think about science fiction movies, and this is very attractive.

Those glasses are representing progress which doesn't have an actual use, and which doesn't answer to a need.

We can say that progress is creating a new need and not responding to a current one.

Of course, those glasses are affecting the privacy, and it can scare people.

For some, it look like cyborg in movies.   To conclude, progress is different for everyone.

Each of us have a particular point of view about progress and we're deciding on our own if progress is bad or good.

Anyway, the frontier between good and bad progress is so small that it's harder to separate them. AH. »
