Alice's Adventures in Wonderland   The novel that I'm going to present is ''Alice's Aventures in Wonderland'', written by Lewis Carroll and published in 2013 (the original edition was published in 1865). It's a fictional story. The story begins with Alice, a little girl, sitting on the bank of a river and bored by the book her older sister is reading to her. Suddenly she spots an interesting rabbit, The White Rabbit, muttering about being late and taking his pocket watch out of his waistcoat pocket. Alice follows him down the rabbit hole into a magical world. She finds herself in a long hallway full of locked doors, and behind one very small door, there is a beautiful garden. However, the door ...

« way through the woods, but he warns her that everone she meets will be mad.

She goes to the March Hare's house where she has a Mad Tea Party with the March Hare, the Hatter and a sleeping Dormouse.

Alice leaves them and finds a tree with a door in it, she walks through the door and finds herself in the garden of the Queen of Hearts.

Alice is invited to play croquet with the Queen, which is a difficult game in Wonderland because the balls and the mallets are live animals, such as hedgehogs and flamingoes.

After, the Queen orders the Gryphon to take Alice to tmeet the Mock Turtle.

Both tell Alice weird stories about ther school under the sea.

Soon afterward, The Gryphon drags Alice away into a Trial where The Knave Of Heats is accused of stealing the Queen's pies.

Suddenly Alice begins to grow bigger and bigger slowly, she stands trial to help the Knave Of Hearts to plead his innocence and the Queen wants to behead her.

But she tells the cards, who are the Queen's security that they are just cards and cannot hurt her. They begin to attack but then she wakes up and realizes that it was all just a dream.   The novel ends on a very typical fairy tale like note.

Alice wakes up to realize that she has been dreaming. However the fairy tale end is only for Alice.

Her sister is the one who leads her out of the dream to the world of reality.  . »
