Roman A god of joy and mirth, of feasting
and revelry. Comus was often represented as
a young man with wings, who was rather sleepy,
perhaps drunk, after a large meal. Romans associated
him with Dionysus, the Greek god of fertility, wine,
and pleasure. Comus loved wine, dance, and song.
