?The globalization is the process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale. Indeed, globalization takes advantage of the differences and inequalities that characterize the world: differences in potential or skills, socio-economic inequalities. This results in multiple flows (goods, capital, services, people) most often driven by the most important actors of the main economic powers. Globalization is therefore a set of relationships that bring together the different geographical areas of the world. The world has become a global village as a result of the expansion of different flows that creates an interconnection between markets. That is why René Girard said «We are aware that globalization doesn?t mean global friendship but global competition and, therefore, conflict. That doesn?t mean we will all destroy each other, but it is no happy global village». Quote that highlights the advantages and disadvantages of globalization. Let us talk about the advantages of the globalisation. Globalisation allows the development of third world countries. Although there are obvious problems of too rapid development, globalization is a very positive force that pulls countries out of poverty. According to him, it provokes a virtuous economic cycle associated with faster economic growth ...

« BONY BASSI THE ESSAY for industry.

Deforestation therefore appears to be a solution to gain space and produce more and to allow the development of certain countries.

And this is due to globalization.

We also have water pollution due to the search for productivity in agriculture and industry.

Globalisation therefore has negative effects on the environment. As inconvenient of globalisation, we can say that it fuels the domination or hegemony of capitalist countries across the EU.

Even within the EU, Germany exercises domination because it is the EU's leading economic power and has shown this through the unilateral decision on the migrant quota that has been imposed on EU countries. Also, one of the disadvantages of globalization is that since each country specializes in a field in order to be a leader in its sector at the international level, their risk of vulnerability is very high.

All it takes is a small economic disruption to slow down the economic activity of these countries.

Globalization can lead to hyper specialization, which can be good, but also negative. We have also the income Inequality.

The globalization of the job market has had negative consequences in developed countries.

"Mind workers" (engineers, attorneys, scientists, professors, executives, journalists, consultants) can compete successfully in the world market and command high wages.

Conversely, production workers and service workers in industrialized nations are unable to compete with workers in third world countries and either lose their jobs through outsourcing or are forced to accept wage cuts. There is also strong competition which leads to the disappearance of small producers (abandonment of small farms) and limits the action of trade unions.

Companies are becoming more important than governments because they are the ones which pilot globalization. Since it is an interconnected market, the disadvantage is that there is a high risk of vulnerability between countries.

An economic depression within a country could slow down international economic activity.

It also facilitates the spread of infectious diseases to people, plants and animals.

Also, globalization has simplified or widened the borders of illegitimate traffics (drugs, organs).

With globalization, we have also seen the rise of trade wars such as the one currently taking place between the United States and China.

Corruption has also developed in most of the major countries, particularly the BRICS.

Some disadvantages of globalization include exploitation of developing countries, cultural homogenization, and adverse effects on local economies and the environment. In conclusion, we can say that the globalisation doesn’t mean global friendship because of its disadvantages but it is not a way for the countries to destroy each other.

Globalization is a complex issue, and while some argue that it reduces global poverty, others argue that it actually increases wealth inequality worldwide.. »
