In this class, we have discussed various forms of power such as gender of power, media power, or economic power. And politics and social sciences, power is the ability to influence people's behaviors. In order to live together, members of a community accept rules, regulations, and laws. This helps create social cohesion but can also lead to conflicts between those who have power of those who don't. Even when power seems absolute, like in a dictatorial regime, there can always be a counter powers that want equity and equality in the society. In this presentation, my main focus will be on social and economic power, and how both can be abused and lead to inequalities, especially between social classes, in other words, between the rich and the poor, which happens to be the subject of the first document I'm going to analyze: 1.
