(Bright) Greek A Titan, one of the
daughters of Uranus and Gaia. Phoebe was the
wife of Coeus, also a Titan, and the mother of Leto
and Asteria. Her name, which means "bright" or
"shining," was sometimes given to the Moon and was
associated with Artemis and Diana.
