Fors - Mythology. Roman The god of fortune. Fors was closely connected with Fortuna, goddess of destiny and chance. The two were often considered a pair in religious practices and were frequently linked in one phrase as Fors Fortuna. Some scholars say that Fors and Fortuna merged into one god that incorporated both male and female characteristics.
