Dardanus - Mythology. Greek The founder of the city of Troy, according to Homer. Dardanus was the son of Zeus. His son was Erichthonius (2), the richest king on Earth, who owned thousands of horses. The son of Erichthonius was Tros, who had three sons: Ilus, Ganymede, and Assaracus. King Priam of Troy was a descendant of Ilus.
