2012's Election - My Candidate Barack Hussein Obama Barack Obama's Biography Barack Obama was born on the 4th of August in 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii; now he is a 51 years old American. His mother is American, she comes from Kansas, and his father comes from Kenya. His parents were separated several times after Barack's birth, unfortunately his father died in a car crash in 1982. When he was a baby, he lived in Indonesia with his mother, and then he grew up at his grand parents' house in United States. Obama moved to Chicago for his studies, where he helped to rebuild devastated communities by the closure of local steel plants. First, he studied law at Harvard University, where he met his wife, Michelle, and then became a civil rights lawyer and a professor teaching constitutional law at the University of Chicago. He began his political career in 1996 when he was selected as a senator in the 13th circumscription of the Illinois State. In 2004, he has been elected to the U.S. Senate His political career was based on the health care for poor people, the defense of gay rights, the assistance to sick persons suffering from AIDS, the struggle against racism, religious tolerance and women's rights and the abolition of capital punishment in Illinois. Barack Obama's program For his 2012's campaign, the President hopes to finish what he began last for year. So, he has a long-term economic program to develop education, small businesses, clean energy, public infrastructure, and reduce tax for companies. He also defends many values like women's right... First, the economic project suggests cutting the help for companies relocated to promote local business and to create jobs in the country. He also believes in a strong and growing middle class that's why he wants to restore an economic security, by cutting taxes for the middle class family, and make the rich people pay more. He wants to protect our atmosphere and agrees to develop every available source of American made energy, the ecological one but also the others (clean coal, wind, solar, oil, gas, biofuels, and nuclear) As far as it concerns education, he would like to reduce tuition, to increase the amount of students' scholarships, and to take on Mathematics and Sciences' teachers. Furthermore, he wishes to continue "Obamacare" creating health's insurance for all and protect woman's health care: he supports the right to abortion. He believes that it's a woman's choice without politicians' interference. He wants to withdraw from Afghanistan, to end the war in Iraq, and to let troops come back. The army must be engaged in nation-building. For the immigration, he proposes to give the resident right to people entered illegally in their childhood in the country. In his Night's Election speech, Barack Obama said that was the best campaign team and volunteers in the history of politics Barack Obama's critics During 2012's campaign, Obama has been criticized regarding the results of his mandate. The economy didn't progress as expected; the number of unemployed persons is still very high. Moreover he hasn't been supported by all American about his Health care program, a lot of people don't agree to pay for it, and however I suppose these persons can't imagine the cost of a good health My opinion As far as I'm concerned, the most important issues of both candidates are health care, energy and environment of Obama's program. To begin, I think American people need "Obama care", to be reassured, if they are sick, or if they are hurt, then, a lot of countries try to reduce CO2 in the world, United State have to follow the efforts of the majority of European Countries to protect earth. But in politic immigration, I consider it's a positive idea to give the tittle of resident to the students who graduated in USA, as Mitt Romney's program. And I think the Romney's economic idea may be efficient. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/fullpage/match-matic-presidential-candidate-2012-match-15177995 http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/04/obama-debate-critics-supporters_n_1941196.html
