Coral great barrier reef

« Coral is essential for life on earth.

At the same time, it is one of the planet’s most threatened ecosystems, directly impacted by global ocean warming from anthropogenic climate change.

The Great Barrier Reef, one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites known for its ‘enormous scientific and intrinsic importance’, has just undergone its third mass bleaching event in five years, affecting 25% of the entire reef.

How do we save this marvel before it’s too late? We can all agree that the reef without its millions of species isn’t the reef anymore But sadly , the reef’s population is slowly decreasing because of this guy the Crown of thorn starfish It’s the biggest natural treat to the reef And this guy And this creature The humain Yeah we are (directly or indirectly)consciously or not the main cause these poor and innocent annimals die with no mercy And the GBR will soon be devastated BUT! Its still not the end of the world There is still hope And we ,of course if we act fast and together Can do something about it and make a better planet for the future generations humans are the only species that can save others The GBR species definitely cannot survive without human intervention (they were resilient in the past but humain creatures killed half of them and ruined their lovely ecolsystem) SOLUTIONS: Of course as you know there is a lot of solutions for the gbr’s problems like Stop mining OVERFISHING and constructions in fragiles sites ,stop deforestation and limit pesticides. Opt for responsible fishing and aquaculture Switch to renewable energies …. (ecterea ecterea) But as we know we are not in the perfect world -first most of the people prefer short term confort (instant gratifiation) like destroying our planet without caring about others -these things and rules take a lot of time to be applied in the world (people are used to gasoline cars for example and switching to electric takes a lot of time for people to adapt to the new technologies . SO; I GOT ONE SOLUTION Its not gonna save the reef overnight but it surely will make this world a better place The.... »
