Yellowstone meaning “yellow stone

The name of the park (Yellowstone meaning “ yellow stone” ) result from rocks which we can see in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone which was trained by the last glaciations, followed by the erosions of the yellow stone river.                                                                                                                 Well, first of all, Yellowstone Park was created on 1^st march 1872. It’s the largest national park in the USA and the oldest in the world. He is standing in three states: Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Ha measure 8983 hectares. He’s located along the Yellowstone River. As a general rule, we entrance in the north, in the state of Montana.

I would like to go to the YNP because it’s a natural paradise. It must be acknowledged that despite its large variety of wilder life, there was only one problem: the experience.                                          Firstly a will talk about the bright side and for concluded  I will talk about the down side.

The bride side is that it had a beautiful widerlife and it’s a volcanic area. It’s famous for their geothermal phenomenon. He’s home to two thirds of the geysers of the world and a numerous of many hot spring. The “Old Faithful” is the famous geyser of the park, he go up 30meters in the air every 45minutes. The “Old Faithful” is the second geyser more important after the “Strakkur “who’s located in Island.                                                                                                                                                    It’s also known for the Yellowstone lake. Besides, they are numerous of grand mammals such as black bear, grizzly bear, coyote, wolves elk, stag, buffalo, mufflon, beaver, otter and that’s the least of it…  350 bears living in the park. Therefore, the rangers are very important for the wilder life protection and the visitor security too. They had to protect the park ressources and teach people how to respect the nature.

Howover, there is a down side: no one had any experience. In other word,  They killed a good many of animals for protect the elk. But the herds of helk ate trees and grasses thus tey notice that the beavers cannot make dams and the beavers vanished. Moreover, the disparition of the beavers caused the dring out of meadows, the trout  and otter vanished, the soil erosion increased…                                                    what obliged the park ranger to shoot the elk by thousand in the 1920ies because ther too many and presented a real danger of the balance of the ecosystem .

After weighing up the pros and the cons of the matter, I realy  want to go to the Yellowstone park! On the one hand the park is beautiful and informative and on the other hand the rangers killed a good many of rare animals but  His beauty and my urge for to know more about all around us is stronger than a mistake.                                                                                                                                              It cannot be denied that more than  3millions of people visit every year the park. What made him there most visited park of America.                                                                                                                                           That’s the reason why to me it seems to to me that the YP is an American beauty and an example for all park in the world.
