Dear Sir,
I am a regular reader of the Sun and a fervent admirer of our Queen. I would like to give you my opinion concerning the article “Queen has rubber duck in her bath “.
I can tell you that, I have resented looking at the front page of my favorite news paper. How can you take for granted a photo taken by a decorator in our Majesty’s living room and use it as a headline. Indeed, this rubber toy was probably a ridiculous gift given as many others which our Queen received by an admirer. Even if the article was a funny glimpse , you should be more respectable about our Queen’s private life. It is true that your news paper is used to putting a trivial pictures to illustrate headlines but I think there are limits which shouldn’t be over passed.
To my mind, the things which took place , a few weeks ago are more important than what’s going on in our Majesty’s bathroom. I believe you should have emphasized on Mister Blair’s proof and put a picture of this proof, instead of a vulgar Rubber duck. Indeed the title of your article is out of step with the world’s reality. I’ve had enough of reading such rubbish in your columns because I’m very well attached to the respect of our dear Queen and I wish you had not strike a blow at her notoriety .
I agree that it’s necessary to catch attention of many readers on funny subjects so as to bypass the cruel reality but not funny subjects on our Queen
What a shame! I can tell you that I really think of stopping reading your newspaper because your journalists are making me more and more sick.
Would you mind taking my critical remarks into account so that I would carry on reading with pleasure your newspaper?
Yours Faithfully
Douglas White
