Rodin's The Kiss - - art. French sculptor Auguste Rodin completed The Kiss in 1886. The sculpture is part of an incomplete series known as Gates of Hell that was originally intended for a museum of decorative arts in Paris; the museum was never completed. The Gates of Hell series also includes Ugolino, The Thinker, Adam, and Eve. Musee Rodin, Paris, France/Bridgeman Art Library, London/New York
