Nobody can teach you better how to live your life than you , but how do you know when to start ? when does the real life start ? That was one of the numerous questions that Matt thought about. Matt was almost 25 and university was almost over , but his list of things to acheave in his life was still full of questions without answers. Visiting magical places , meeting incredible people and going on life-changing trips. He lived in a appartement in Chicago near the house of his grand parents who had always encouraged him in everything he did , he loved them as if they were his parents. His mother , Jane ,loved to listen to matt’s storys of his imaginary trips but his step father was a very hard working business man and never listenned to his son , he never had the time. Since the death of his mother, he knew , life was to short , to short to think about death or security , life had to be an adventure , and a beautiful one. He had told his grand mother Marguerite about his plans , and she knew that one day she would wake up and find an empty bed in his appartement. She knew that he had suffered but that he knew how to hide it , she knew about his plans of travelling , and she had seen the crosses ,the red points on his atlas when he was still a young boy. Ralph was 29 and came from California , he had left his girlfriend alone a few months to spend some time on the road.He had a dark brown beard and small round black glasses and long brown curly hair hanging all the way down to his shoulders.

His fingers were covered by rings and he told me the story of each one of them.

His favourite one was a wooden  ring with the letters 'K.P' on it that he had found somewhere in the Alaskan forests.

In the middle of the night it started to rain so I went in the back of the car to sleep but Ralph wanted to stay outside.        While I was reading my book I noticed a small wooden box hidden under one of the seats.

Inside of it were a. »
