This video is the trailer for the movie Mississipi Burning directed by Alan Parker. In my opinion this trailer can deal with the discrimination lived by black Americans during the 60s. I say this because we see an opposition between the black man and the white man at the begening who both shout. To my mind, this film must show us violent & xenophobic people, I was shocked by the fact that at one time of the trailer a white man snatched the flags of a little boy who, in my opinion, was demonstrating. Then, the trailer introduces a man wearing glasses that in my view seems to be one of the main characters. At first I thought that this man could be a journalist but finally I think he could be a policeman because in the trailer we can presume that he is investigating in murders this man also wants to help people as we can see at the end of the trailer After that the trailer become violent, in deed, we can see a house that explode, but just before the explosion we can see a sign where there is written freedom, which may seem paradoxical in view of what we seen before between the black and white people. It gets even more weird and frightening when we see armed men dressed in white, they seem to be looking for someone with their flashlights. Then they trample and then tie black men, we can suppose that they kill them by the presence of a hanging rope. This person I think this men Are part of a very famous sect at that time named the KKK. I find that this film must be very interesting to learn the American history and I would be curious to see this film.
