The three situations in which Hélène needs to speak English : As a profesional tourist guide, Hélène has to speak english very often in her work. How Hélène prepares her presentations : If she knows the site, Hélène doesn't have to do so many research but she has to adapt her presentation according the level of interest . If she is not familia...

« useful to take good notes. When she presents somewhere for the first time she can practice her english with her friends. If she needs to use new, technical words, she tries to find out how to pronounce it and if possible she asks teachers from England. 3.

According to Hélène, for anyone who has to make a presentation, he has to make serious notes, to do not write out the whole presentation and to never reading his notes but to watch the audience.

Also, the notes should be structured and concise, use a simple and clear English because all the tourists are not natives.

It is not necessary to learn a huge list of architectural vocabulary because most of the group will not be interested in technical details. Part 2 - Welecoming 1.
