?Today I'm going to deal with the notion of myths and heroes. First of all, I would like to give a brief definition of the notion.A myth is a popular story that tries to guide society towards certain values, or some ideal. It is usually made up of unreal facts and actions, often led by a hero. A hero is a brave person who is willing to sacrifice himself to rescue other people. Can carry out extraordinary feats. Some heroes are famous for facing the devil like Batman, Superman, Captain America, ECT,... We call them superheroes. Meanwhile, some heroes are real-life people who were outlaws who rebelled against a given order like Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, So, now, I will try to explain: How do myths and heroes influence the behavior of society? My first document is the cover of a comic of Marvel: Captain America #2 published in April 01, 1941 .The character was born in the year 1941, by the hand of Joe Simon and Jack Kirby (two Jewish authors), who created this icon of the supersoldier under the influence of the war conflict of those days (the Second World War) and as a reflection of the need to maintain the ...

« The English Kids colonists arrived on the east coast of North America in 1607.

They were Protestant Puritans who decided to escape Europe to seek a better future by emigrating.

Eventually, this territory was organized in thirteen colonies dependent on the English crown using the name of New England.

Once this new country has achieved its independence, it adopts the same name of its continent.

It was refunded as the United States of America.

To like its Protestant roots, this nation, to Mead of its Catholic neighbors, was characterized from the beginning by its distinctive individualistic character and its strong ethic of personnel To illustrate the myth of the American Dream I have decided to choose as a document Obama's speech on November 7, 2001.

Obama first dictates that he is here as his family had witnessed the American dream (gives us the example of his mother and grandfather) also tells us that his wife's family was a witness (his father-in-law) and that thanks to that dream were able to realize his Own dream.

Obama encourages us in his speech to leave the divisions either by social causes or religious issues and unite all for the American Dream Reborn again, because as he says, the American dream is dead, encourages people to regain hope.

For it proposes a list of proposals that would improve the lives of the citizens and that revivirian the myth of the American dream Why if even the Americans do not believe in the American dream, then who will? It is for this reason that it proposes to unite all the American citizens to recover the faith and the hope and thus to return to believe the myth of the American Dream.

We can relate this document to the notion as it responds perfectly to our problem, the American dream had an influence on the family of the same American president, Barack Obama, and the other families.

This dream attracted many conventions immigrants to America and I give them the Oportundad to start again. My last paper is about the cowboy myth, Myths are built on symbolic elements that reflect the spirit of a society or a historical moment of humanity.

In the not so brief American history, few myths are as solid as the lone cowboy.

Myth that, with greater or lesser coincidence with its original sense, transcends cultural frontiers to embed itself as a subject more than the cravings of transcendence of half humanity. The man who comes out of nowhere and conquers the territory with his knowledge always hidden, always of uncertain origin, as if they came from the reminiscence of a perfect world, from which it has materialized, provided only with his hat.

The cowboy became a heroic figure.

This made many people dislike these national heroes.

Companies used the myth to create publicity.

The Marlboro tobacco Company,. »
