ZEUS 1- Presentation Zeus is the “Father of Gods and Men” who rules the Olympians of Mount Olympus. He is the god of sky and thunder.His attributs are the thunderbolt, the eagle, the oak (= chêne) and the lightning. Zeus is the child of Cronos and Rhea. His brothers are Poseidon and Hades and his sisters are Demeter, Hestia and Hera who is also his wife. Zeus rules the Mount Olympus with justice and equality but he has got a lot of defaults : he gets angry very quickly and he is unfaithful : he cheated on Hera about fifty time and had about a hundred children.
